Approximately 21 by 17 feet, The Birdhouse is designed to provide an accurate listening position and a vibrant recording environment.

The Birdhouse was designed around the idea that the best records happen when we align everyone involved in the room together. Instead of separating artist, producer and engineer, this space is a shared creative environment—precision-controlled where we listen with ambient character where we need it. Intentional design and acoustic management produce adaptable recording zones in an open single-room layout. Less separation. More immediacy. Better records.

CONTROLLED FRONT
Floor-to-ceiling bass trapping and a mixed absorptive, scattering diffuser create a tightly controlled, low-reflective stage at the front of the room.

CEILING CLOUD
A four-by-eight-foot cloud controls early ceiling reflections above the listening area, improving imaging and translation.

AMBIENT REAR
A ceiling reflection-scattering field and a purpose-built four-by-six-foot slot absorber/diffuser preserve useful ambience without surrendering control.

REFLECTION POINTS
Broadband absorption at the first and second reflection points supports a focused listening position and a dependable stereo image.

Designed around a simple principle: you should be able to trust what you hear. Deep broadband treatment, floor-to-ceiling bass trapping and carefully controlled reflection points create a listening environment designed for low-frequency control, clear imaging and reliable decision-making—while a more diffuse rear field keeps the room musical.
